My name is Hope Smith. I was born and raised in the desert valley of Las Vegas, Nevada. I recently transferred from the University of Nevada Las Vegas to study Environmental Earth Systems Science. I am now a sophomore attending the City College of New York.

Science is my utmost passion in life. I am interested in many topics, from microbiology and epidemiology, to dark matter in the universe, to hydrology and geology. It all interests me. I hope to get a Master’s or PhD after undergrad, and work at NASA one day.

In this class, my work is all centered around science in some way, shape, or form, as it is “Writing for the Sciences.” With that being said, I hope you readers enjoy what I have to say.
